Ohana means family. And family means no one gets left behind. A large portion of the LGBTQ+ community lives in poverty or has significant financial distress. Under our Ohana Policy, we offer those who are struggling financially with partial scholarships so that they may attend the Alive Workshop.
If you are interested in attending the Alive Workshop, but are unable to afford to do so, we want you here. The process is simple. First, fill out the Financial Aid Application (https://forms.gle/PEas2GphphjxDjEu9).
At the end of the application, there is a link to a Calendly page. Please schedule a quick interview (15 minutes). During the interview, we’ll get to know you and find out what is going on in your life. Within 24 hours of that meeting, we’ll notify you of our decision.
Please know that while we will do our best to help as many people as possible, applying for financial aid does not guarantee that we will be able to award scholarships to everyone.
All scholarships are need-based only and we will not base any decisions on race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status.
For more information, please contact the Alive Workshop office at 614-FUTURE1.
